Business Letter. A business letter from either the sending company in the US or sponsoring company in Turkey. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to the Embassy of Turkey, and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above). Business letters from US companies should adhere to the following guidelines:
• Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
• State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Turkey.
• Specify the type and desired validity of the visa (ie. one year multiple entry business visa).
• Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.

Cruise visa is not required for passengers of ships to enter and stay overnight in the port cities of Turkey upon the permission given by local border police authorities.
Turkey cruise visa is not required
for citizens of United States for a stay up to 1 day.

Check the current validity of your passport.
All travelers will need a passport valid for at least 90 days following your departure date from Turkey. However, we strongly recommend traveling with 6 months validity on your passport at all times. Make sure your passport has blank Visa pages.
Most destinations, including Turkey, require that you have adequate un-used pages in your passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure.
